Finding Clarity in the Complexity
For 15 years, I lived a life that looked excellent on paper. I was an engineer who had climbed the ladder into global leadership within the telecoms industry. I was building teams across the UK, the Americas, and Asia, managing high-stakes technical projects and navigating the fast-paced world of international business. I was living an amazing life all in all.
But internally, something wasn't clicking. Despite the titles and the achievements, I was struggling with a quiet, persistent sense of anxiety and a lack of belief in myself. I was successful, but I wasn't fulfilled. I was "winning," but I felt increasingly lost in the noise of a career that didn't seem to have space for the deeper questions I was starting to ask.
The Leap into the Unknown
In 2015, I decided to stop running. I walked away from my career in telecoms not because I had a perfect plan, but because I knew I couldn't keep ignore the disconnect any longer. It was a vulnerable, uncertain time. I spent the next several years untangling who I was from what I did for a living.
This period of "un-tethering" led me to a Master’s in Psychology and a deep dive into how we, as humans, actually change. I wanted to understand why it’s so hard to find balance, why we get stuck in loops of overthinking, and how we can find a sense of "home" within ourselves even when our external world is chaotic. I also used this time to spend a lot of time in nature, training to be an International Mountain Leader, Forest School Leader and Nature Connection Guide.
Why I do What I do
I became a coach because I wanted to help others navigate that same search for meaning. I started with one-to-one coaching for founders, parents, and leaders - people who, like I was, are often managing a huge amount of external pressure while trying to figure out their own internal path.
However, I soon realised that coaching the individual is only half the story. I saw brilliant, motivated people make huge breakthroughs, only to return to workplaces and cultures that were effectively "broken." It felt like helping someone find their spark, then sending them back into a downpour.
This is why I expanded beyond Personal, Leadership and Executive Coaching into broader Organisational & People Development and Learning. I want to help organisations and teams build environments where growth is actually possible - where the systems are clear, the teams are consistent, and the culture supports the human beings within it.
A Perspective from the Mountains
Today, I live and work from Chamonix, in the French Alps. I moved here because I found that nature - and the mountains in particular - offered a perspective that a boardroom never could. The scale of the Alps has a way of silencing the "noise" and helping you see what truly matters.
I don't just sit across from you as an "expert." I sit as someone who has walked the path, faced the insecurity, and done the work to build a life and a career that finally feel aligned. Whether we are working on your personal growth, your team’s dynamics, or your company’s strategy, I bring my whole self to the table: the engineer, the psychologist, the leader, and the human being who knows what it's like to start over.
I have had my fair share of success throughout my life, but I have also faced my own struggles and difficult times. Like many others, I have experienced anxiety, insecurity and a lack of self belief. My friends, family and community are very important to me, they help me to stay grounded and to enjoy life. My own teachers, coaches and therapist have supported me on my journey, and I am continually grateful to them for this. Time in nature, my sports and my meditation have brought me peace and happiness in my career and my broader life.
It is important for me that I have walked the path, and continue to walk the path before I coach others to do the same. For me this means a lot of personal development, therapy, coaching and training over the past 10 years. I continually draw on this experience in my life and my coaching. As well as ongoing professional development, I regularly take part in silent meditation retreats, often based in pristine nature. I have a decade of experience with my own meditation practice and deep nature connection.
