Executive life coaching combines leadership development with the wider personal questions that shape how someone leads: purpose, energy, confidence and alignment between work and life. Rather than offering strategy or advice, it supports you to find clarity yourself, at the point where the next step isn't obvious.
Leadership coaching supports people in leadership roles, or moving into one, to lead with more clarity and confidence. It often focuses on the gap between the role someone has stepped into and the role they're actually doing day to day, and on finding space to reflect, reset and refocus away from the daily demands of the job.
Life coaching is for anyone working through a personal transition, not only those in leadership positions. It might mean questioning what you want next, finding balance between work and the rest of your life, or reconnecting with what matters to you. You don't need to be leading a team to benefit, it's for individuals at any stage or in any role who feel the next step isn't yet clear.
Life coaching tends to focus on personal direction, wellbeing and transitions outside work. Executive coaching focuses on leadership, team dynamics and organisational challenges. In practice the two often overlap, since how someone leads is rarely separate from who they are, so sessions can move between both depending on what's needed.
People navigating a transition, whether that's in their career, their leadership role or their wider life. This includes founders, individuals, parents and senior leaders who are managing considerable external pressure while trying to work out their own path forward.
